This is called AutoHotkeys it lets you change your inventory item hotkeys which are normally set to the NumPad #s. It will also disable your game from closing if you press Alt+QQ or the Windows Key, but you need to run this everytime you play WC3 in order for it to work. Goes great when combined with my Custom Hotkeys setup with all unit and hero spells are set to QWER so that all your hotkeys are all together!
First download AHK at Autohotkey.com its very small and once you download it you can close it, you dont need it running
Then choose Setup 1 or Setup 2 (just one or the other)
Setup 1 - WC3 Inventory AltQ.ahk (4.2 KB) Inventory Slot 1 = Alt + Q Inventory Slot 2 = Alt + W Inventory Slot 3 = Alt + E Inventory Slot 4 = Alt + A Inventory Slot 5 = Alt + S Inventory Slot 6 = Alt + D
Setup 2 - WC3 Inventory TYG.ahk (4.91 KB) Inventory Slot 1 = T Inventory Slot 2 = Y Inventory Slot 3 = G Inventory Slot 4 = H Inventory Slot 5 = B Inventory Slot 6 = N
Pressing NumLock will turn on/off the hotkeys (only while in game, this will not effect anything outside of Warcraft 3)
You run the inventory.ahk file itself not autohotkey.exe, the .ahk is very small (3kb) so its not even noticeable on your CPU/memory. Place it in your Warcraft 3 folder, then make a shortcut to it on your desktop. You can edit the file by right clicking on it, in case you wanted to change anything.
If it doesnt work, right click on the .ahk file and then copy, then go to your desktop and paste Shortcut. Then right click on the Shortcut and go to properties, under advanced click set to "Run As Administrator" then apply
