Well, that's it. The name says it. I hate tinker first for life. Anyways, username: MadQax Plays on east. Always goes tinker first, creep in unexpected spots to level 5 (during which he just spams factories in your base), get level 6, and base crap you while massing dragon hawk. On twisted meadows, he will usually go 1 mortar in zepelin and shoot from back (cancel gold mine) and then a few tanks with mass dragon hawk with like 2 gryphons. Anyways, the game was pretty expected and his creeping patterns and all were obvious cause this guy NEVER changes his strat rofl. I found him again lucky (unlucky) 1v1 today and here I am surviving through this bulls1t. Someone please tell me an effective way to beat this crappy strat. I have genuine trouble with this cause it's complete bs. btw, his bullsh1t strat must work cause he got 90% winrate on hu rofl 1v1 MadQax Tinker QQ.w3g (183.12 KB)

Thank you for posting this interesting replay.
Clearly, this human player was trolling throughout the game. He was carrying out an experiment; and unfortunately, you were the guinea pig. I'll have to admit that he almost outwitted and outplayed you.
It appeared as if he only wanted to use dragonhawk riders along with his Tinker hero to destroy your expos and main base. If you noticed, he hired a mercenary unit to rejuvenate his tinker from damage. Also, a sorceress was created to make his Tinker invisible prior to harassing your expos. After his gold mine was drained, he didn't even bother to create an expo because he became too overconfident in his strategy. I guess he wanted to boost his ego even more if he defeated you without even attempting to expo at some point.
Here is my advice for you: 1) Do not ever create hippos against dragonhawk riders. They can move navigate the air just as fast; thus, they generally avoid any damage from them. Plus, aerial shackles is so powerful (30 damage per second). 2) You should take note that in the case where you might have air units that are being shackled by dragonhawks, you can cast the Dark Ranger's silence on them to disrupt the channeling effect of that spell. I noticed that you had the Dark Ranger during this game; however, you did not cast it on the dragonhawks. 3) The best anti-air unit for this situation were archers; as they only take 65% damage from dragonhawks and have much better range. Further, I would upgrade the armor for archers. 4) I would have hired the Alchemist as the third hero instead of the Naga. Use the Alchemist to cast Acid Bomb on the dragonhawks/Tinker and you would have owned them really fast by lowering their armor.

It's not an experiment. That HU player is pretty bad and only does that strat and the exact same locations for creeping (lol).
1) I couldn't think of a better mobility than hippos vs dragonhawks but I will think a bit more about that 2) Silence was impossible to cast with him only engaging on water :/ (other times, running 24/7) 3) Problem with archers is that they are feed and the mobility is not enough for me to go around map. Really hard with a level 5 tinker :/ 4) Ehh, I think panda would have been a better choice thinking back. However, that frost arrow saved me the game quite a bit xD
5) I saw a replay of a better player vsing him. Apparently the solution is firelord tower push and end game (lol). ^^
